Abstract A two-sided frequency selective surface (FSS) is proposed to shield two bands of the mobile frequencies (EGSM-900 and DCS-1800). The FSS consists an array square concentric-rings cells printed on both sides substrate offer better shielding frequencies. CST Microwave suit used for simulations. equivalent circuit model analysed transmission in terms stop estimated. obtained than 40 dB across bands. can be reduce radiation or isolate halls from nearby base stations. bandwidth cell increased by using ring pairs unequal sizes substrate.
